World Owl Trust Member – Bill MacKenzie wrote to us about Everyclick - The Charitable Search Engine.
“Yes it’s true, a charitable search engine, one that gives to your chosen charity each and every time you search or shop using it. In my case, the World Owl Trust and hopefully in your case too.
The name of the search engine is Everyclick. I started using it a few months ago and have watched the donations to WOT grow although there were only twelve people that had chosen WOT as their charity at that time. If you set Everyclick as your home page then you will not forget to use it as your search engine.
I suggested to the staff at Muncaster to use it and was told that they had recently started to do so.
If you work in an office or a school or other organisation that uses computers and searches the internet, try to encourage them to use Everyclick and choose The World Owl Trust as their charity. All your friends who like owls should be encouraged too, as each time Everyclick is used as a search engine, approximately 1p is added to the WOT charity fund if that is the charity that you have chosen. It does not cost you anything as payments are made from revenue collected from advertisers. In fact, 50% of Everyclick’s revenue generated by advertisers is donated to charity, so far £434,909.41p of which only £14.52p has been donated to WOT.
So please, log on today to www.everyclick.com and start to use Everyclick as your search engine and start to raise more money for charity. By the way, I do not work for Everyclick, or for The World Owl Trust, I am just mad about owls, and as a member of WOT, I think they are doing a great job and with more money I’m sure they could do more”.

Thanks for this encouragement, Bill. I hope lots of WOT members join in. The search engine is just as good as all the
well known ones and fund raisers can add a statement to the bottom of emails which they send out to encourage others to join
