“A great gift idea”
A highly enjoyable experience for those over the age of 16.
The day usually begins at 9am with a tour of the Main Display. You will be involved in jobs such as cleaning, pen checking
in the off-view Breeding Ground, ‘catching up’ of birds for check-ups or medical treatment in our hospital, clipping
talons, etc.
The highlight of a full ‘Day with a Keeper’ or an afternoon is taking part in ‘Meet the Birds’, where you
will be able to fly one of the smaller birds on the Castle Lawn. You will have your picture taken with an owl and receive a
certificate as souvenirs of a memorable day.
Junior Keeper Tour
You will spend one to two hours in the company of one of the Keeping staff as they complete their daily rounds. You will have
your picture taken with an owl and receive a certificate as souvenirs of a memorable day.
Call the office on 01229 717393 to discuss your ideas for a visit.
