The Wildflower Meadow
“A Living World”

At first glance, a meadow looks peaceful and benign.

This is a false impression.

In reality, a meadow is a jungle with whole communities of plants, insects, animals and birds all fighting for survival. In many ways it mirrors life in a tropical rainforest.

It is simply smaller in scale.

WAIT, WATCH, LISTEN AND LOOK.

Soon you will discover this world for yourself.

The following pages tell you how to create you own wildflower meadow or ‘mini-meadow’ in your garden or school grounds:
  1. How To Start
  2. What are the best flowers to buy and sow
  3. What you can do to help
  4. How to create instant colour
  5. “Wild” Patches
  6. Did You Know?
