The WORLD OWL TRUST is a charity dedicated to breeding, research, conservation and education regarding owls on a global scale. The work undertaken is interesting and worthwhile and from time to time we are able to offer volunteers the chance to participate.

At present we have the following vacancy:
Treasurer (Voluntary)
Responsible for:
Overseeing the finances of the Trust and advising the Council on financial matters.
Duties:
Preparation of monthly and yearly statutory accounts and reports in accordance with current legislation.
Attendance at Council meetings 4 times per year & AGM (held on Sundays). Attend monthly executive meetings (week day) as
often as possible.
Liaise electronically (and in person when possible) with the Chief Executive and book-keeper. Assist Chief Executive with the
preparation of budgets. Most of the work can be carried out by E-mail and phone.
A background in accounting would be most useful.
