1 pm – AGM (members only)

Following the AGM you can meet some of our live owls, take photographs and chat to some of the WOT staff

2.30 pm - Guided Conservation Walk in the Grounds - walk led by Trust Hon. President Tony Warburton MBE

3.30 pm - On the lawns in front of Stirk House a demonstration in the art of carving Owls from logs by chainsaw by James Shelliker

Following on from this there will be refreshments in the Hotel during the day and in the Dining Room during the evening
There will be an exhibition of Paintings by Linda Wain and framed photography from World Renowned landscape photographer Mark Gilligan

7 pm - Reception

7.30 pm - Gala Dinner with After-Dinner Speakers Alan & Sylvia Williams who will describe their conservation work and present their own film ‘Living with Barn Owls’

Members Rate for Bed, Breakfast and Gala Dinner is £53
The Reception, Gala Dinner and After Dinner Speech is open to all so bring some friends

All World Owl Trust members can stay at Stirk House throughout the year, subject to availability, for the privileged rate of £28.00 per person Bed & Breakfast.

Directions: From M6. Turn off at J31 and head east on A59 towards Clitheroe (Skipton & Harrogate). After 15 miles ignore signs for Clitheroe and continue on A59 for 3 - 4 more miles. After a rise of a hill you will see a small grey farm on your left and half a mile further on look out for a large sign for the hotel also on your left.
Turn in and follow the long drive to the hotel.
From Kirkby Lonsdale or Skipton head for Gisburn. Stirk House is on your right, just over 1 mile past the village.
