Barn Owl Ears - The right ear opening is usually larger and higher than the left

The right ear opening is usually larger and higher than the left. This unusual arrangement allows owls to pinpoint their prey with great accuracy by sound alone.
The Barn owls ears also differ in sensitivity to high and low frequency sounds.
