Lord Forteviot Lord Forteviot was our first Patron, and has allowed us to release Barn Owlets back into the wild on his land in Scotland.
Prof. David Bellamy O.B.E. Environmentalist, David, is one of the most important voices in conservation and ecology today. He has inspired countless children and adults, introducing them to nature and science through the mediums of television and literature.
Terry Nutkins Well known as a natural history presenter of many well known television programmes, Terry has been one of our Patrons for a number of years.
Bill Oddie O.B.E. Bill visited the Owl Centre and agreed to become one of our patrons whilst filming in the Lake District for his BBC TV series “Bill Oddie Goes Wild”. In addition to being a conservationist and natural history presenter, Bill is undoubtedly Britain’s best known ornithologist.
Linda Wain Linda is a wildlife artist and a keen supporter of our work. She has produced a video - Creative Painting - Barn Owl for Beginners & Improvers which features an interview with Tony Warburton and Sparky the barn owl. Linda has offered to donate half of the proceeds of the it’s sale to the Trust. The video is available as a DVD or Video, details are available at Linda’s Web Site:

The World Owl Trust is a member of the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) and the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EAZA). The Trust relies on a dedicated membership, visitors, donations and legacies.
