Last year the World Owl Trust cooperated with our Israeli representative Motti Charter and his colleagues by sponsoring a live webcam on a Barn Owl nest in Tel Aviv. To be able to watch the day by day development of four lusty owlets from the comfort of our own homes was an unforgettable experience.

This year we have gone one better by sponsoring two webcams in Israel and we can all now enjoy live pictures from inside nests all the way from the Middle East, plus the added bonus of a Lesser Kestrel nest – owl watching the easy way!

How To Do It
There are two choices of the two owl nests:
The one at ‘Tirat Zvi’ or the one at ‘Nir David’ - just click on the link you wish to watch.

N.B. Unfortunately the owls rather beat us to it this year and the owlets are already well grown, so hurry! However, for intimate views of another live Barn Owl nest with younger owlets, this time in California:

• Go to top of the page and click on Live Owl Nest Box Cameras and go to the link with ‘Molly’ the Barn Owl.
• There is also the opportunity to click on to webcams on two Eastern Screech Owl nests where the females are on eggs at the time of writing. This means the main view is of the females back at the moment, but in the weeks to come we will hopefully be able to see the owlets.
