Wulf’s Blog

Tuesday 25th February 2014

Just a quick one this week. Due to family matters I have been unable to do a blog for the past few weeks, and since being back, I have been playing ‘catch up’, and haven’t had much time to do any writing so to speak.

The big news today is that ‘Rupert’ the Red Kite has been seen around Muncaster again. Some of you may remember his visit around this time last year, so he must be a semi permanent resident in these parts, which is nice.

Lastly, we did our annual round up of the inhabitants of the Laybourne Aviary, which is the big multi species exhibit in the Main Display. Getting all the owls caught up can be quite challenging, and this morning’s efforts were no exception!

I hope to be back with a full blog next week
