WOT Matters in Owl Conservation

What is WOT

The World Owl Trust works on owl conservation on a National and International scale, and we have members in many countries around the world.

Our conservation programmes protect populations of endangered owls until their habitat has been restored. This has already been achieved for the European Eagle Owl and British Barn Owl.

The Trust is a registered charity and relies heavily on the generous donations it receives from our members, supporters and visitors to the Centre. We also run a popular owl adoption scheme.

THE WORLD OWL CENTRE AND COLLECTION

The World Owl Trust has closed it's World Owl Centre in Cumbria. The ground work has already started at the new site and the architect’s plans are being finalised and clearance work has started. We are looking forward to formally announcing further details very shortly.

WOT has the finest collection of owls in the world and we are currently relocating the collection to temporary accommodation in various locations throughout the UK until the new World Owl Centre opens.

A selection of our owl collection is on public display at the locations below  where visitors, members and adopters will still be able to view a selection of the collection owls.

We will be updating this site with other venues when the sections containing the owls are opened to the public. So if you fancy a day out why not call in and say hello.
